Three Valleys Ladies Darts & Dominoes League

The Darts Pairs Final was held on 12th May 2010. Well done to all players, there were some great darts played throughout the evening.

Lorna & Helen from the Wilton & Bridge beat Pam & Estelle from the Black Horse in the final. Well done ladies!

Our annual Pentathlon was held on Wednesday 17th March and was a great success.

Special thanks go to Annette from the Bulls Head for seeling raffle tickets & domino cards. To Lorna from the Wilton & Bridge for her help with the scoring on dominoes & 5s & 3s, also to Jen & lesley from the Malt Schovel for their help with the darts scoring.

I run a Ladies Singles Darts League in Hitchin, we are just completing our first season.

The reason I am emailing you is because I would like to try and organise similar leagues spring up in different towns and districts.  The winners and runners-up of each league would then meet at the end of the season for what could be described as a play-off.

Our season has been really good for regular players and new players alike, there would be limited organising to do as that would be my job, I would just need someone in each town to receive the fixtures for that week and just email me the results back.  No hassle.

I would just like to help promote the ladies game, I have given up Super League darts to concentrate on this.

• no teams, as its a singles league, each female plays for themselves
• each player meets in a league, playing each other twice over a season
• website showing all results and league tables
• use whatever venue you want in your area on whatever day you want (we play on Sunday afternoons)
• only need 8+ players

I do have quite a few areas interested and wondered if your area would be, I think it would be really good.
