  3. MEETINGS - Meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month at 8.30pm. It is the responsibility of each house to have a representative at each meeting, failure to comply with this rule brings an automatic fine of £10.00. Arriving at a meeting after 8.45pm brings a fine of £2.00. Any team not staying to the end of a meeting will be fined as if they did not attend at all (i.e. a fine of £10.00). Arriving after a meeting is closed is also a £10.00 fine. The A.G.M. will be held at a date/venue decided by the Committee.
  4. VOTING - At meetings each house may have 2 representatives as well as the Licensee or his representative and they may put forward their views. However, only 1 vote per house is allowed except at the AGM when all attendees get a vote. In the event of an even vote the Committee will have the casting vote.
  5. MATCH NIGHT - Match night will be a Wednesday at 8.30pm prompt.
  6. PLAYING OF MATCHES - Darts and Domino matches to be played in separate rooms, unless the playing areas are well apart. No other darts of dominoes matches to be played in the same pub at the same time as League or K.O’s. All pubs to have a dartboard that is in good condition. All Pairs, team cup semi-finals & final matches start at 8.00pm.
  7. REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS - Each house may register an unlimited number of players. Each registered player may then only play for that house in the League. She must also have paid the registration fee for the League and ideally be over 18 years of age. If however a player is over 16 years of age they may be allowed to participate in the League provided the Landlady or Captain of that house accepts responsibility for the teenager involved. The away games host must be contacted to seek permission for the under 18 yr old to be allowed in the pub. If they are not allowed in the pub then the under age girl cannot attend the match that night. Registration to remain open until the league reaches its halfway stage.
  8. UNREGISTERED PLAYERS - Any house found to be playing an unregistered player will be fined £10.00 and forfeit all the points in which she was involved.
  9. REGISTRATION SHEETS - Registration sheets should be displayed in the games room of each registered house or one of the Captains must have it with them on match nights.
  10. DISPUTES - Any disputes which cannot be settled on the night of a match should be reported to the Committee within 24 hours by telephone. If the Committee feels there is justification for the complaint, the Captains and if necessary, the players concerned will have a private meeting with the Committee. The Committees decision should be accepted as final. Only if both teams feel the decision is unsatisfactory will the complaint be brought to a monthly meeting for a vote. Should there be a dispute; the objecting Captain should sign the back of the scorecard only, noting the game which is in dispute. If the scorecard is signed on the front by both Captains, then the result stands as being correct.
  11. RESULT CARDS - Scorecards should be sent to the Secretary by the Monday following the league match, and results either telephoned, text or emailed to the secretary by Friday lunch otherwise there will be a fine of £10.00. If results are late 2 or more times, 3 points will be deducted in addition to the £10.00 fine. It is the responsibility of the Home Captains to send in the scorecards. If the points on the scorecards total 7 points and the card is signed by both Captains, scores will stand for both teams.
  12. MONTHLY LEAGUE TABLES - If a team does not query any points on the monthly league table before the next meeting, it will be taken that they agree with the Secretary’s figures and no alterations will be made.
  13. RE-ARRANGING A MATCH - Before a match is re-arranged the Secretary MUST be notified and the re-arranged date should be agreed by the Licensee involved. ONE WEEKS NOTICE should be given by the team wanting to re-arrange a match, (except in cases of extreme weather conditions). All re-arranged matches should be played before the LAST LEAGUE MATCH on the fixture list. ALL matches in the first half of the season are to be played before the ‘turn around’, thus simplifying matters in the case of a team dropping out of the league. A list of contact details to be distributed to all captains to make rearranging games easier.
  14. GIVING GAMES AWAY - Any teams giving games away will have to be re-elected into the League at the following A.G.M.
